PG Triathlon Coaching is led by Pedro Gomes and Ali Hall, and the team is based in Scottsdale, AZ - the training grounds that shape the athletes we are and the coaches we’ve become. First and foremost, we are deeply passionate about this sport. We are athletes ourselves, living the same early mornings, long rides, and honest work that define triathlon. When we’re not supporting athletes, we’re training alongside them - continuing to learn, refine, and push our own limits. Coaching isn’t something we do from the sidelines; it’s something we live every day. We keep our 1:1 group intentionally small to provide personalized, year-round guidance built on trust, consistency and long-term development.
Pedro Gomes is a two-time IRONMAN professional champion who has spent over a decade helping athletes reach their potential in endurance sport. Over the years, he has helped many athletes qualify for the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona - a race he has competed himself for five occasions as a professional. Pedro holds coaching certifications from USA Triathlon, USA Cycling, RRCA, IRONMAN U, and is a NASM-certified personal trainer. But beyond credentials, he believes that community, accountability, and face-to-face coaching are some of the most powerful drivers of success in endurance sport.
Ali Hall has been racing triathlons for over 17 years, with more than half of that time focused on long-course racing. She has completed five full-distance IRONMAN, including the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, and more than two dozen IRONMAN 70.3 races. In 2024, she earned her second qualification to Kona with a 10:28 finish at IM Maryland, and in 2025 she secured her second BQ at the Phoenix Marathon with a 3h21. A certified coach through RRCA and IRONMAN U, Ali has worked with athletes of all levels—from their first 5K or triathlon to qualifying for the 70.3 Worlds or earning a BQ. She is passionate about helping athletes pursue ambitious goals while building confidence, resilience, and a lasting love for the sport.
